Media and News Gathering Frequency Coordination Request Form

ALL media and news gathering representatives, reporters and technicians using any of the wireless equipment listed below MUST coordinate frequency(ies) and day & time of use PRIOR to entry to any of the event sites listed. Failure to do so MAY result in denial of wireless equipment operation on site, and/or transmitter confiscation if found to be operating without permission, or creating interference with coordinated users.

Media Credentialing Application

The media credentialing application process for the 2008 presidential and vice presidential debates was open from June 23, 2008 until August 15, 2008. The application process is now closed.

Housing for first Presidential Debate—September 26, Oxford, MS

Due to the limited number of hotel rooms in Oxford, MS, local residents have offered to rent their houses, apartments, and condominiums for the debate. For reservations for the first Presidential Debate on September 26 in Oxford, Mississippi: www.oxforddebatehousing.com

Radio Frequency Disclaimer

With regard for all frequencies in use by CPD production, security agencies, radio and television broadcasters, and media and venue operations, Radio Frequency (RF) users will be required to coordinate with the CPD's designated frequency (BEST AUDIO) prior to setup at each debate.

No RF transmitters will be allowed in the Debate Hall.

Approximately one month before the first debate, a form will be made available to those who have registered to cover the debate to facilitate communicating RF frequency requirements. If you have any questions in the meantime please contact larry@bestaudio.com.
